A: HTN is eligible to provide financial aid through Pell Grants, VA Benefits, state scholarships, work study, and private scholarships. For more information please visit our Financial Aid Web Page. There is no cost for LCSD enrolled high school students.

Q: Do I need a high school diploma or GED to attend HTN?

A: No, you do not need a high school diploma or GED prior to attending HTN with the exception of our Health Programs. You can work towards your GED through the Technical Resource/Learning Center while you are enrolled in our Business or Technology programs. For more information, visit our Learning Center Web Page.

Q: What are class hours?

A: Classes begin each weekday morning at 8:00 AM sharp and end at 2:30 PM. All students have a 30 minute lunch break. Health program hours may vary.

Q: Are there rules regarding attendance?

A: Yes, there is an attendance policy at HTN. High School students who attend HTN follow the guidelines set forth by the Lee County School Board. Adult students are expected to be in class everyday except for emergencies.

Q: Are there rules regarding dress?

A: Yes, student's dress and grooming shall be appropriate for the classroom and program labs. A set of general guidelines is included in the HTN school catalog. Instructors may have more specific dress requirements for individual programs.

A: You can receive detailed information about HTN's programs in a number of ways. Printed brochures are available in the HTN office for each program. Our School Counselor is available by appointment. All programs have web pages describing the program. These web pages contain e-mail links to the instructors for you to request more information.
