Notice:
All Full-time Programs and Night Learning Lab information is being updated
on this website.
We're enrolling students for our full-time day programs
starting in January 2012.
Seats are still available in some of our popular programs
starting January 5, 2012 and enrolling through January 20, 2012.
We are counseling and speaking to new students now as
registration is still open for students wanting to start in
January (Winter) 2012.
Please call for information on how to register for any of
High Tech North's career training classes at (239) 574-4440.
PRACTICAL NURSING: This high interest program starts
three times per year here at High Tech North. The next
two dates are: January 11, 2012 (now taking
applications); May 2, 2012 (now taking applications).
The application process is lengthy, the sooner you get
started the better! The selection process to fill each
class is based on a point system criteria matrix. The
criteria are entrance test scores, past education, and work
experience. So if you're interested in Practical
Nursing as a career, your first step is to stop by our
school and make an appointment with our counselor or take the TABE test
in our Learning Center.

Reports

| The No
Child Left Behind Public School Accountability Report
(formerly the School Advisory Council Report) is available at the school
front desk for public review and on this website as a link. Also available for public
review is the School District of Lee County FINAL BUDGET
2011-2012. NCLB Update:
The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001
requires school districts to notify parents regarding their
status in meeting student performance standards known as
adequate yearly progress (AYP). Currently, the School District
of Lee County has met 90% of the criteria. The District,
together with all other Florida School Districts (66), has been
identified by the state of Florida as being in "corrective
action" until 100% of the criteria has been achieved. The
District is committed to provide high quality instruction for
all students, and we will continue to strive for 100%. If
you have any questions, please contact your school principal.
