The purpose of this program is to prepare students for employment as surgical technologists.

Description:

The content includes, but is not limited to, communication and interpersonal skills, legal and ethical responsibilities, anatomy, patient care procedures, the skills and areas of study listed below, plus fundamental employability skills and basic computer literacy.  Program size is limited to 12 students for a highly effective student-to-instructor ratio, all students will be trained on campus and at local hospitals.

Course length is 1,330 hours.  Class started on January 23, 2012. The next class starts in January, 2013.
